When presented with a problem, we like to first challenge our assumptions and preconceived ideas about how to solve it. Sometimes you have to turn it upside down and inside out to find the best solution.

Charlotte and Dave have a lovely victorian end terrace with a long, thin, rear garden. We were engaged to simply design a utility room for the rear of the house. However, it became clear after our initial site visit and conversation, that the main frustration was with the functionality of the kitchen and dining area.

By making a few simple moves, we not only solved the problem of utility and storage space, but also created a light and bright kitchen area with connection to the garden.
