Community gardening

This is what happens when Stockport businesses get their heads together. The guys from Where The Light Gets In Restaurant and their neighbours, The Wellspring Homeless Shelter, thought it would be a great idea to collaborate and create a garden for the care, attention and well being of Stockport residents and the homeless. They spotted a bit of underused land and an overgrown churchyard over the road and gained support from the Council and Saint Mary’s Church.

We made an interactive model and helped to run this community brainstorming event, and as expected, the Stopfordians didn’t disappoint with loads of enthusiasm and ideas! Watch this space!
